Our Company

Australasian Maintenace Solutions (AMS) is a privately owned Australian company established in 2001. Our philosophy is to provide practical assistance to maintenance practioners by focusing on maintenance and business results.

AMS have numerous core employees and developed a network of industry specialists that allow AMS to provide flexible, economic solutions to its clientele. AMS utilise accredited suppliers that satisfy our strict supplier accreditation code, encompassing business value and product quality. When appropriate, AMS recommend these suppliers to clientele to provide reputable supply access across diverse fields.

Our Team

Scott Collins – Managing Director

Scott is an associate engineer, having obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Central Queensland University in 1986. Since completing his trade in Fitting & Turning with North Broken Hill mine, Scott has gained extensive experience in the mining, manufacturing and pulp/paper industries over the past 30 years.

Scott founded AMS in 2001 to deliver high quality maintenance consulting services. The company has grown to provide a range of maintenance services designed to provide practical economic solutions to business.

Michael Jewitt – Procurement Specialist

Michael joined AMS in 2002, and was integral in developing the inventory management service AMS provide. Michael gained a Diploma of Logistics Management in 1988 from the University of NSW and achieved a Graduate Certificate of Manufacturing Management from Charles Sturt University in 1994.

Michael has occupied positions in all levels of supply, from storeman to procurement manager. The experience Michael has gained over the past 35 years has provided him great insight to the practical management of inventory.
